Well, this, I suppose, is it.
The beginning.
Before leaving the US, I set myself the task of blogging everything I possibly could once I left, keeping in mind that (a) my sweet fan base misses me and is excited for me and wants updates; and (b) I know that time is going to fly by during this period of my life, and I want to be able to look back at this terrifying, beautiful, dreamy, long-anticipated, terrifying, etc., etc., etc. (all the feelings) moment.
I hope I can do it justice; and, of course, I hope it is enjoyable to read.
This is going to be gritty, nitty, and very real. If any of that bothers you, this isn’t the spot to be. If, however, you really want to know what this is like, read on.

Incidentally, for all of you who have been goading me endlessly to write my memoir at the absurdly premature age of 26, 28, 33…well, prepare to see this in print someday. I’ll chronicle Ernestine’s Misadventures in New England at a later date.
