lovely, patrons, here is your second bonus episode for the month of February (yes it's coming to you on March 1 but we can't help that they made February short when they did the calendars). it's the fourth and penultimate episode on Star Wars: Andor, covering episodes 7-10 of the show, which includes a standalone episode and the prison arc. this time around, Cassian Andor tries once again to flee to a place where the Empire can't reach him but ends up arrested on flimsy charges and stuck in an imperial prison for his trouble. the nascent rebellion tries to cope with having successfully stolen a bunch of money as the Empire gets new tools and powers to stamp out rebel activity in their own version of the PATRIOT Act. Mon Mothma tries to balance the life of a secret rebel with her crumbling family dynamic while we're also introduced to the ur-revolutionary of Star Wars: Saw Gerrera, who brings us the most leftist moment in Star Wars history (arguing about why you hate other leftists). however, even as the Empire's grip begins to tighten against suspected rebel activity across the Galaxy, they are playing right into the hands of the rebels and imperial tactics only breed more enemies for the cause.
covers the following episodes of Andor: Announcement, Narkina 5, No One's Listening, and One Way Out
NOTE: The Name of the Rose won the vote and will be our next book club series. our series will begin in April or May, after we finish the series on Andor later in March.
attachments: 1: attaching the Galactic map once again as we visit all three of the marked planets in this episode (Coruscant, Ferrix, and Segra Milo). 2: a meme Luke made about all the various types of Star Wars fans hating one another. 3: a meme of unknown origin about the differences between Mon and Saw. enjoy!
