Designated Fat Friend

I wrote this in one burst this morning, but only the first part is what you see here. After a few hundred words I ran out of steam and the story morphed into something along the lines of my previous stories like Animal Feed, where the perspective shifted to the narrator's older sister, and then her father talking about how fat their mother is.
I wasn't happy with that, and after stepping away for a bit I came up with the obvious answer of having the narrator stay consistent through the story, always so much fatter than her friend. Maybe I could have done more exaggerated imagery about how fat she is, but that probably would have gotten old.
