I watch most anime in JP dub so I know what I’m talking about. I can always put my bias aside and objectively state that most anime sound better in JP dub. But not this one. Wouldn’t say that personally. To me the thing is, some speeches are not as bad in english usual but still sounds really bad like idk english is just not a language that fits the anime format. It only sounds good when it’s set in a universe close to america like cyberpunk Edgerunner but in japanese setting with japanese name it’s just awful to hear english. I also watched animes in others languages like french and spanish and it still is weird. French dub does sound kinda good due to their great voice actors but it still sounds disturbing. To me there’s no way anything sound « far better » in english in naruto

LOLOLOL. remember the pain arc where Ron is like "Man how do you build from here? I feel like we peaked. You can't have a bigger threat than pain" Fucking KABUTO BRO. Slept on him. To answer Michelle's question about why they have to obey. Kabuto's reanimation jutsu is actually two jutsu put together: 1. Edo Tensei - the forbidden reanimation jutsu. This simply revives the person targeted by the jutsu and makes them really resilient. 2. The Mind control seal - After reviving, kabuto pushes a kunai into their skulls with a jutsu seal that subjugates their mind. I imagine this doesn't work on the living because stabbing a kunai into their brain stem tends to be fatal - so for people under edo tensei the seal remains and makes them obey the parameters of the seal. Should be noted, in a recent episode Kabuto mentioned he used a different seal than the one Orochimaru used - Orochimaru was kind of a control freak so when he was fighting the hokage, they would only do explicitly what he commanded. Kabuto's seal is different - it allows the target to remain completely autonomous and preserve their own will - they just have to broadly follow the goal of Kabuto's commands. So for example -> Assault the allied shinobi force battalion #3 -> They'll come up with whatever strategy they want (which is optimal for their own personalities) and they might actively not want to do it but they have no choice. With Orochimaru's seal, they'd probably just charge head-on unless given more specific instructions - so kabuto's reanimations are significantly more dangerous

It's actually hilarious you guys bought up how there was a lot of ninja because it's the biggest plot hole in the series. Kishimoto really messed up on this point. From all 6 alliances(Add the samurai) the total of ninja totaled up to 80,000. What this means is at least 13,333 ninja resided in every alliance. However what's crazy about the math is that it doesn't add up to 13,333 based on what we know about Genin graduation output from the academy and them being promoted to chunin. Only 9 students from academy become Genin each year and only a handful of them become chunin like Shikamaru. It also doesn't help the fact that back in part 1 each village during chunin exams had as little as 30 ninja participating while the leaf having 72. Nothing adds up, bro did a hard retcon mid series LOL
