I really disliked the part in the anime where they cut out that Mito won the custody over Gon. I mean it didn't shield the fact that Ging's a shtty dad (parental wise), but it would make people think of what ifs Ging and Gon actually stayed together in a reckless journey, and what could be the plot from there hahaha

Alright so if im being honest nobody seems to actually be sure if alluka is a boy or a girl in that one family picture it gives of the impression that its a boy but when you look at her talking to the butlers she looks like a girl probably because of her va too its kinda like the whole pitou thing like we dont if pitou is he or she fr its one of those things where the writer doesnt confirm for you and just lets us have a headach and tbh i like it that way i like characters like that

i mean even if gon didn't want ging to go to him because he wants to find ging himself,,, he's literally on a deadbed lol if ging visits him or not would probably not cure him the second ging steps in to see his son. ging could just,,, you know get a look and dip the second gon was to wake up, if that was to happen in the first place. totally understand where leorio is coming from!!

Currently Yoshihiro Togashi (the author/artist of manga) is on a going on over year long hiatus after dropping 10 chapters off of a 4 year long hiatus. There is one short arc after the anime, then probably the longest arc that will be in HxH after that. Togashi said that the current arc in the manga will be the longest in the series so far. The schedule unfortunately due to his health is very very sporadic. Wish they would animate the next complete arc while Togashi is working through the story with his health.

I don't know if you already know this or if it's important to you or if it's actually confirmed, but as far as I know, Alluka is a male who identifies as a female. All of the siblings are male. Even Kalluto is a male that cross-dress as a female but identifies as a male. I think it's all because their mother wants to have a daughter.

Do you guys know why there are so many bad father characters in Anime?It's because in Japan, people work so hard to the point where all those father can't spend time with their kids and because they work late, they are always exhausted during the weekend!! Look at Fullmetal Alchemist, Dragon ball, Demon Slayer and so on, the father characters don't spend time with their kids, they tend to leave the family stuff behind and focus on their carrier all the time like my father was. That's a very typical Japanese culture guys!!(´・ω・｀)

I think Ron is on the right path about ging being more than a trash dad and having a whole planned out thing for gon. I think it just hadn’t gotten written yet, but if you really think about it, the author showcased Ging’s hunting ability to predict the 12 zodiacs moves into voting. I truly believe it just showcases how much ging can predict, and like gon said before, his dad probably planned him to meet kite, and probably predicted that gon turned the way he did fighting for his life. I think there’s a bigger thing about him none of us know yet, and I hope we’ll find out 🥲

When Ging said "Did Gon ask me to come?" he was illustrating that it has always been Gon's desire to find his father through his own strengths and means, not that Gon just wanted to see his Dad by any means. It would be disrespectful of Ging to just go to Gon because he is in trouble on his journey rather than letting Gon accomplish his goal of reaching Ging himself. I know its a little weird given how in real life when someone wants to see another person they don't really care how it comes about. But it would be like someone just bringing the One Piece to Luffy. That isn't the point of Luffys journey, the point is being the one to find it.

I do think HxH is a uncompleted anime. I think the author is starting to write again or already has hopefully will get an anime adaptation to finish this. I really hope that’s the case but I cannot guarantee anything. If anyone has more info please comment.
