2024-02-18 20:08:56 +0000 UTCthe potion he took was supouse to decrease 20% of damage he is receiving but also poison him as a side effect. Well since he is immune to the poison it was very easy choice. Just wanted to clarify that he didnt drink just a poison and his passive skill didnt give him the damage redution buff, it was still the potion. PS. your dog scared the shit out of me xd.

2024-02-18 17:45:57 +0000 UTCone thing to note is just because it’s an s rank dungeon doesn’t mean that every thing in the dungeon is s rank the guard dog was only like b rank, dungeons are ranked based on the entire dungeons aura so a bunch of e ranked monsters could make a d rank dungeon hope this helps

You have missed so much info like that. 1) the key he got was a S-Rank. 2) the "poison" he drank was a -20% to all damage taken Buff with a -35% Strength debuff. But thanks to his detox passive still -35% got removed. Also you can tell if his in his "instance" dungeon by if you see names over enemies heads. He can't see that out side of the instance dungeons.

2024-02-18 07:11:12 +0000 UTCA few things that they breezed through in this episode that you may have missed. So I'll preemptively throw some explanation if needed. Before Jinwoo enters the instance dungeon, he was making an assumption of the level of monsters inside. He figured that it would be on the level of the "Jeju Island" dungeon which as he says "Those S rank Hunters failed". Another detail that was somewhat hard to understand in the anime was the "Poison" that he drank before defeating Cerberus. It was an item that he got after killing the Serpent Boss in the last instance dungeon. Drinking it will reduce Physical Damage taken by 20% but it came at a price of reducing your strength by 35%. However, because of his passive ability to cure/resist poison and abnormal status, he isn't affect by the strength reduction portion, therefore gaining the 20% physical reduction buff without any draw backs. Great reaction as always, see you in 2 weeks :')

He didn't want to use it because of the debuff that comes with it but he used it after learning he had a passive cleanse ability

I was so deep into the Light Novel that I was really hype for the anime and it turned out to be something really disappointing to me. Good to see someone at least aware of that gem of a story.
