Part of the beauty of One Piece is being surprised with how unique and different each islands are, which can be their own fantasy worlds within themselves. You’ll ruin the wow factor of discovering the look and feel of islands when they’re introduced. Especially if you’re enjoying uncovering the mysteries of Little Garden and how the island is you’ll ruin that for yourselves when you get to the new islands. And as someone else said there’s a few ships in the video that will for sure be a spoiler. Just stay on your journey now and be as surprised as the Straw Hats when they get to new islands

The only spoilers you would reasonably get are some location spoilers and possibly new crew members. With how far you are currently there's at least one "type" of location you'd definitely recognize that is coming up relatively soon in the story (just after Alabasta) that I think would be much cooler for you if you had no idea it was coming. Personally I'd say you're clear to watch it past ep 150ish, but that's just me.

The ones you are talking about is why I suggested waiting till after Alabasta. And the full shots are difficult to even process them all without pausing. I’ve seen many people react to it who have started One Piece, and unless they are pausing and discussing every frame, I’ve never seen them act spoiled. Personally, I think it would be cool for them to watch after Alabasta, but it’s their call.

It's a great video but it is a horrible thing to suggest to people who have already started watching. It's fine for people with no knowledge to watch since everything is unknown, but there are multiple shots of the entire crew in the video and they would honestly need to be blind to miss it. They have enough context about the show that they will notice the things that are "different".

2024-02-15 21:53:17 +0000 UTCI’ve been going back and forth on recommending The Breathtaking World of One Piece for months now. I’m psyched that it’s on your radar! If you were still in the East Blue, I’d say absolutely watch it. Any spoilers you might see, you would not recognize as spoilers, and they are so quick and minor that you almost certainly wouldn’t recall it. However, now I would recommend waiting until the end of the Alabasta arc because certain things will jump out at you now that wouldn’t have before and will absolutely spoil you. I still highly recommend watching it at that point, though. Seriously. Just from an editing standpoint, it’s legendary.

After 500-700 episodes they are safe to watch it and it is an amazing video. but truly a one piece fan who is at least in the second half of the show will appreciate the video or a person who's never seen any OP episode.

It's just like a trailer full of visual content to hype up people to watch One Piece. It's very beautiful but YOU GUYS already watch it. Theres nothing to hype you about other than incoming not spoiled content. Everyone knows One Piece is a hype anime, and you both already felt that. No reason to give yourself visual input off the next 1000Episodes. It's like watching ''The Rumbling'' the Attack on Titan intro, while being in Season2 just because someone said ''Ay watch the rumbling its the best intro!''

What I mean by this is that if you were to watch the video early on, like before the grand line, it would get you more hype for what's to come. While it is still technically true, I believe you guys are at a point where it would be better to watch later on. I would recommend watching the video after 516. I believe this to be a perfect point to take a "break" and watch the video and see how far the One Piece journey took you and how much further you still have to go.

Gives you more appreciation of the world / environment because sometimes you'll be so tuned into what's happening in the story that you'll miss the beautiful background behind it all. Also really well edited, they should really hire the creator to make One Piece trailers :D
