Itachi did say this, which can be interpreted in multiple ways (ZERO spoilers): - If Sasuke unlocked the Mangekyo Sharingan, he would be the 3rd Uchiha to do so. All mentions of the statues on the Valley of the End (ZERO spoilers): - As far as I remember the identity of both people on those statues were never mentioned up to this episode (correct me if I'm wrong and I'll edit it). - Kakashi said both statues represent founders of the Hidden Leaf Village. - Kakashi and Pakkun said it was ironic that Naruto and Sasuke battled on the same place these founders once did, claiming it seems like a never ending cycle.

All jokes aside, she did say she saw the manga for kakashis backstory out her own mouth, but waaay back she kept saying she’s caught up… not calling her a liar, but I will say her story for sure has a lot of inconsistencies. Also if I’m not wrong she said she was reading Naruto since like highschool so I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s already seen all the important and biggest moments in all of Naruto. It is implied by Itachi saying "including you sasuke, there will be three with Mangekyou sharingan" and then Sasuke learns of Madara through the Ninetails on the first episode. Put those together and it is very easy to infer. That's what I did when I first watched

The reason why Deidara committed suicide is because his Art was all that he lived for, which Itachi and Sasuke made him realize that all of his lifework would never live up to The Sharingan, completely dissrespecting and devaluing and in a way lose total meaning in his own existence. "mangekyo sharingan" is its own distinct thing from a regular sharingan, because it's when the pattern of their eye fractals out like a kaleidoscope. All base sharingans have the same ability to view chakra and read high speed movement and things like that, but mangekyo sharingans are unique to every set of eyes

Madara's name has only been mentioned once and that was by the Nine tails at the beginning of Shippuden. Statues are mentioned by Kakashi in OG, but only the first Hokage is mentioned. The name of the other Statue was never given.

sorry for the long read. i didnt see a reaction to it when it was said so i had to pause to say im only 10 minutes in so you might talk about it in the discussion but just in case you dont and you missed it. when Karin said to Sasuke "Your supposed to be the one that killed orochimaru how did you just barely survive against Deidara". Sasuke said "Orochimaru was already weakened to begin with thats all there is to it". and then he looks down disappointed and i just think thats a really cool small missable line that puts into perspective just how OVERPOWERED and STRONG Orochi really was/potentially still is (to go with rons theory lol). That if he wasnt already so weak sasuke wouldnt have been able to beat him. which is crazy when you think about how OVERPOWERED and STRONG sasuke is that Orochi is way stronger than that non weakened. i know alot of people hate/are annoyed by Orochimaru but hes still one of the GOATs if not the GOAT in my opinion for a multitude of reasons.

Just a little tidbit on the Snake (Lord Manda) - when Orochimaru summoned him to fight the other sanin, Kabuto commented how it was a mistake. Kabuto thought to himself that Lord Manda would kill Orochimaru if he knew Orochimaru had lost use of his arms.
