2024-01-10 05:03:01 +0000 UTC23:00 Not sure if we're on the same page or not but this is what I understood about the whole Killua and darts situation. The darts only materialize when they hit the target. So they touch the skin as they become real and keep going till they've pierced, and they stay real until the dude recollects them to basically reload between rounds. If Killua reacted normally with his reflex (which are super fast by itself due to his training) he would've been too slow to catch it even if he knew where it was coming because the brain would have to see the fish appear and then transmit a signal through the hand to his wrist to catch it the moment it appeared. Instead, Killua basically programmed his electric aura to directly send the signal to his wrist to catch the fish the moment it appeared inside the aura, since the nerves basically work by transmitting electricity. This made his reaction extremely fast and he was able to catch it. This is an awesome new way of using aura that Killua just discovered, that's what he was saying too as he was fading out of consciousness.
