It is exactly like Naruto and Sasuke they are both rivals, friends, with potential and talent. Every main character that has good potential always has to have a friend/ rival who is equally as powerful you know (Dattebayo).

Discussing whos stronger or weaker in a nen battle will lead you to using a very flawed power scaling system. Bungee Gum at first sight isnt nearly as strong as Gon's rock paper scissors, but could it be? Nen is too intricate, how much nen you can put into your fist doesnt mean all that much, Look at Kurapika vs Uvo. Kurapika could hit like an old lady and still win that fight.

2023-11-04 16:25:44 +0000 UTCI would say Killua is stronger and has been the more powerful fighter for a while but ever since they both got Introduced to Nen, the gap between them has been narrowing. Gon being an enhancer has helped him a lot since enhancers have a higher output of nen than everyone else. What i will say tho is that people underestimate Killua's actual physical strength because for a while now we've been seen Gon get strong at such a fast pace but if you think about it Gon is kinda catching up to Killua but it's not like he's far behind. Either way they compliment each other very well.

2023-11-04 06:10:01 +0000 UTCYes like Ron said, it's hard to determine who's stronger, even in real life athletes there are athletes like strong strong, then some others have more intelligence so they could overcome the pure strength. But having intelligence also doesn't mean they could make up for everything, since they also unconsciously think about options and limits that they have... So it always depends on the condition and opponents, I guess.

Remember Killua came home from the Hunter exam and opened like 3 levels of the testing gate while Gon, Kurapika, and Leorio had to train, to barely be able to open the first level of doors TOGETHER. What helps Gon strength wise is that he’s an Enhancer, so his nen enhances his strength, which makes them closer. Then they both have their own individual strengths like Gon’s senses and intuition, Killua’s speed and tactics when it comes to combat since he was raised as an assassin.

2023-11-04 00:34:43 +0000 UTCWhat's your metric for determining who's stronger? There are so many factors. In terms of raw pure strength, while they're both strong asf, I'd give it to Gon. In terms actual skill and versatility, I'd give it to killua. But ultimately styles make fights, and right now I’d say they’re either equal in strength or one of them is edging it, which is crazy cause you haven't even seen them at their best yet. That's what makes this next arc so exciting. The best arc in my opinion. Actually, most people's opinion. Ron will love it, Michelle....might be a bit disturbed to say the least lol. But I'm sure she'll love it too.

Gon is the strong, high nen reserve dumb boy. They go hand in hand with each other. People focus too much on each of their strengths and who is stronger. When they should think more about what they can do together as a duo.

Gon is extremly determined and has incredible "natural instincts", Killua is extremly smart and analyzes siuations very fast. Right now i personally would say Killua is stronger bc his technique is better in one to one combat, but im not really sure tbh. Also them two together is probably the best perfect duo bc they complement each other perfectly

He wanted them to reach that potential and then crush them. It did not matter the age or gender to him, he was super weirdly attracted to the thought of battling someone strong
