2023-10-21 14:25:13 +0000 UTCThe first season is good and we get into the characters and how the game works and it is peak cause your watching it for the first time thinking this is great, but I really like the Gun gale one in season 2 as well. The Alicization is even better than Gun gale and would still consider it one of the best fantasy anime’s out there. You don’t have to agree this is my opinion everyone has their own based on what they like.

Its like magic basically Great Sage explained it as the building blocks of life, so its basically cells that make up the bodies of organisms made of magic Mainly Monsters and Majin, they use the word "Majin" a lot, its basically organisms that are partially or totally made of magicules Sidenote, Magicules are toxic for "non-majins", like humans or weaker races that have small proportions of magicules So organisms made of more magicules = more resistance and energy in their bodies

In this case, from Ogre to Kijin Their bodies became smaller, more human like The amount of magicules (Magic) in their bodies increased exponentially And each of them inherited skills suitable for them from Rimuru We see Soei appear from a shadow to tell Rimuru about Gelmud, thats "Shadow Movement", a skill the tempest wolfs and Ranga has as well as Rimuru, which Soei inherited. The other Kijin as well with each getting different skills Their lifespan got bigger, in the case of Hakuro (old Kijin) he was closing his end but getting named made him younger and gave him more years

2023-10-19 20:10:38 +0000 UTCOk, so how to explain this without giving away future details. The naming helps them evolve, but also is more of a connection between the name giver and the receiver. So for example, remember when Veldora named Rimuru, and Rimuru gave Veldora a surname? They both had a some what equal exchange. So thats why Rimuru doesn’t follow Veldora in the same sentiment, however, Rimuru became stronger because of the naming and was able to evolve in the process. I will say that given the conditions of their verbal contract, the Kijin don’t necessarily HAVE to answer to Rimuru if he calls for them. Seeing as how Rimuru accepted that they could leave once the battle is over with. But during the naming their souls connect, so its almost as if they inherit some of the powers or strength of the name giver.
