It looked like Michelle saw that and tried to temper it. I totally get Ron’s frustration, however. If you have a good year, it can be gut-wrenching to pay out those taxes.

So it isn't necessarily that she knows how the game works and the boys don't, its just that she is 10x better at analyzing situations better than gon & killua are at this point in the story, of course that is due to her having a mountain more of actual life experience as a human being & as a hunter than they do!

In Germany you pay up to 45% or in some cases even over 50% in some brackets. We have other benefits with it tho, so it is all a matter of give and take. :)
