Going to be honest, there's not a lot of modern anime that portray motion so well as this fight. Mob Psycho comes to mind, but not a lot else. Details are low, so some people trash it, but art doesn't need to be super detailed to be great, this is a motion picture, and by God the motion in this is beautiful.

This animation still holds up to today’s standards. This is one of the best fights in anime history and a top 3 (imo) fight in Naruto, with Gaara vs Lee being another one as well

I don't think JJk would be as praised as it is without mappa doing what they did with the animations and pretty solid execution. It's what carried the show to popularity in the anime world. OP is being a bit contentious but at the same time isn't completetly wrong the story has its generic moments. However there are alot of things JJk handles better than certain shounen. It also doesn't really have anything bad about it besides maybe a huge exposition dump with fast pacing.

I have heard people says this word "flow" and to show how fast the attacks are, you're just copying people's word online. There are other way to show fast movement, you can even cut down frame to make them blink to make it look fast I wholeheardedly followed this anime/manga since I was a kid and have rewatched it many times as my number 1 anime but a fact is a fact, budget is a thing if you don't believe it.

jjk has an extremely great story, especially in the manga and the upcoming rest of the season. as someone who started their anime journey on naruto, jjk is honestly better in most/all aspects, and the reason why they'll find similarities in shows is that everything has been done already, the way how writers use those aspects to create a story is what matters most. it makes me laugh when someone can be so blind and hateful towards a show due to them not being able to see past the surface level of what the story is trying to portray

Both have incredible peaks for sure. This fight is in my top 3 favorite moment for me in the entire series. And probably is the 2nd or 3rd best fight I've ever seen in fiction, between the soundtrack, animation, lore, character dynamic. I will say this, I'm going to read part 2 for the first time (all of it because I only read final arc when it was dropping weekly years ago) but anime wise part 2 aka Shippuden is quite meh imo

Naruto is stronger with the 9 tails help, but don't get it twisted, he ain't God. Atp naruto is not beating orochimaru, Or really anyone that’s like Jonin+. Orochimaru was already putting him to work during the chunin exam while he was using the 9 tails chakra. Also, the 9 tails atp just wants to be set free and continue to wreak havoc. ‘What the heck are you?’……’Your friend’……these were great but sad episodes for me to watch. Watching their friendship evolve only to see it end here, Naruto wanting to save Sasuke and Sasuke not wanting any part of it but to be left alone to pursue his goal,of revenge against his brother. You could see the emotions in both of them as they fought!

JJK is inspired by a lot of shonen and other manga too but mostly HxH. The author (Gege) said to Bleach's author (Kubo) that he was inspired by Bleach, but Kubo said back to him "No it's Togashi(HxH author), right? lol" so everyone could obviously see HxH heavy influence in JJK, even Kubo realized that. But yea Gege also mentioned to Naruto's author (Kishimoto) that Gojo was inspired by Naruto's character in chunin exam but sadly Kishimoto didn't even remember that character lol. I thought Gojo reminds me of Kakashi but I was wrong.
