2023-08-09 20:57:14 +0000 UTC1999 version is good in that term, very dark and blood-ish but I don't like it because they totally changed the story. Putting filler is fine, but they changed everything else too. Even the dialogue when Killua asked Gon's age for the first time, they changed it. Togashi's dialogue is important to define the character's definition and changing it will affect the story later. I enjoyed it as a different version of HxH, but what I like the most is Togashi's HxH, so 😂 2011 version did cut this and that but they're pretty much following Togashi's storyline and dialogue.

Regardless the outcome of the match later, this match is very special because we get to see both Nen users fighting each other for the first time. It's not all about powers but the analysis. You can see how Hisoka was not just taking attacks and offered his arm, he took it to learn what Kastro's ability is, narrowing down his theory earlier about Kastro suddenly disappeared.

2023-08-09 07:35:48 +0000 UTCWhen Ron was like “he’s not bleeding” makes me kinda wished this version of hunter x hunter wasn’t censored, it does affect their reactions. Now they’re doubting if his arm is really cut, if they saw him profusely bleeding they would have totally different reaction.

2023-08-09 02:08:37 +0000 UTCNen is the name of the ability to use and manipulate their aura/life energy. Nen has 4 main principles, Ten, Zetsu, Ren and Hatsu. What they have explained so far. - Ten means Shroud, to build up a shroud of Nen aura. Your Nen becomes a protection layer and hard exterior which hardens your body and considereably slow the effects of ageing. - Zetsu means Null, to nullify the Nen aura. Gon used it to hide/conceal his presence from Hisoka when trying to steal his tag. You can also stop using the Nen aura since it is your life energy and recover from fatigue. - Ren means Enhance, to create an especially strong Nen aura and is crucial for increasing your power. If used in a bad way it can be used to exert bloodlust and intimidate like how Illumi(Killua's brother) used it on Killua. Hisoka also used it on the 200th floor so non-Nen users cannot pass him unless they have at least learned Ten to protect themselves from his Ren. - Hatsu means Act, the release of Nen aura after boosting via Ren. Basically, to use/project out the Nen ability and use it to attack, defense etc. It will be furthered explained. Kastro's double is from his Nen ability. It's not another person but he is using Nen to create the double.

2023-08-08 23:33:49 +0000 UTCA double episode upload is unnecessary for HxH, Naruto is only double since it’s an extremely long show. Im sure if there are episodes that need to be “watched together” they will do that bc they have done it before for AOT and another show. But 3 a week is fine (mod)

It is a valid question, they may have already addressed it and I just don't know. But I am not the only one who would like to see it, and they have shown they will do it (such as currently with Naruto). The one particular arc which is pretty long and I do not need to name, will be painful for everyone at 3 a week (including Ron and Michelle)
