One of the best episodes of anime right here and its for SIDE CHARACTERS like they did everyone so dirty with this but its so good and beautiful and amazing and i love seeing the reactions it brings people.

2023-05-06 23:46:10 +0000 UTCFor anyone interested, when Snake mentions how he was a warrior of Miklagard, this refers to Constantinople/Istanbul which was the capital of the Byzantine Empire (Otherwise known as the Eastern Roman Empire). So it's hinted that Snake served as a member of the Varangian Guard which was mainly made up of vikings/norseman. That's why he has a Middle Eastern sword!

2023-05-03 18:00:35 +0000 UTCI'm judoka (done it for 15 years) and I can tell from my experience that we also sometimes choke in competetion or training other so hard that they pass out. I haven't read manga but I can tell by these scenes that he's just passed out. It takes more to kill someone by choking.
