Swindler's Luck Part One

Due to a violent storm, Tibor Zyste, a wealthy merchant, has taken refuge at Cloudtop Tavern. Having recently come into a large sum of gold, after selling damaged goods to sky pirates, Tibor has taken the opportunity to celebrate as he flaunts his wealth. Eager to take his gold for their own, the patrons are engaging in a series of different gambling games with Tibor, including betting against him on the Brawler’s Pit, a fighting arena pitting patrons against the powerful brawler guardian. As a night of drinking, gambling, and revelry ensues, will the characters enjoy their restful stay in Cloudtop Tavern, or will a looming threat ruin their night?

Two Part Adventures

You'll notice that this is a "Part One" adventure. The second part will be released next month with an all new set of minis and airship relevant to the story! We will also be doing a Part One and Two for August and September's Release! After that, if people like our two parters, we will continue to doing them 1-2 times a year!

Cloudtop Sky Tavern

Another new thing this month is our first ever building. This is the floating "Cloudtop Tavern" which sits upon an earthberg. The history of Cloudtop is included in this adventure! We hope you love this "miniature" It's one of our most ambitious playable pieces so far!

With the advent of airships and sordalite technology, the citizens of Sordane took to the skies, causing many things to adapt to the rapid changes that were brought about. The beloved taverns that provided rest, relaxation, and merriment for generations, were one of these things. No longer necessary to be built only on busy pathways or in crowded cities, barkeeps and innkeepers alike had to adjust, taking to the skies by building on small earthbergs and sky platforms. These new sky taverns were unlike any other taverns in Sordane, offering the unique experience of resting comfortably among the clouds without the rigged confines of most airships.

As travelers began to discover the thrills and sailors began seeing the convenience and comfort of visiting sky taverns, their popularity soared. Enjoying a drink and a meal in a floating tavern high above the clouds was an experience that all but the most luxurious of airships could provide. These establishments quickly became a meaningful and symbolic presence in Sordane’s skies, with travelers seeking them out for their warm hospitality, unique cuisines designed to reflect what can be found in the local towns and wilds, and stunning views. Staying at an exciting sky tavern often becomes an unforgettable experience, and many people consider it the highlight of their journey, as in the vast skies, these taverns offer a much-needed sense of comfort and familiarity to those who seek it.

Cloudtop Tavern. Cloudtop Tavern has been in operation for nearly a millennium, having been passed down through generations within the same family. Over the years, it has weathered convergence storms, pirate raids, and sky beasts, yet has persevered. Despite facing these challenges, the tavern has been rebuilt and repaired countless times and remains well-cared-for, ensuring that both regulars and new travelers alike are welcomed with a warm hearth and a friendly smile. The staff takes pride in their reputation for providing excellent service, and the tavern has become known.

New Playable Race - Melaleu

We are introducing the Melaleu in this release! Get awesome STLs, lore and rules for using them in 5e! We release a new race or sub class with every release!

Melaleu

Melaleu are a race of bear-like creatures native to the continent of Issenzar. Living in Issenzar’s secluded mountain ranges for millennia, their hidden bamboo forests were discovered by the rest of Sordane; as explorers searched the continent for new mining opportunities, delving into the ancient tombs and lost cities of the snow-covered land.

Frequent Sleepers

Melaleu are known for their ability to sleep anywhere, at any time, exceedingly often. They naturally cycle through sleep and wakefulness every four hours, meaning it is usual for them to sleep three times per day. In their homeland and culture this is a readily accepted practice, but many melaleu have had to adapt their sleep schedules to the more “fast-paced” lifestyle of Sordane; forgoing the comfort of their regular lives. Because of their fondness for sleep and food, many view them as lazy, but this is far from true; melaleu are capable of becoming extremely active business owners, sailors, adventurers, and more, forgoing their cultural affinities and adapting to Sordane’s practices.

New Virtual Tabletop Support

As we have mentioned before, we are now not only supporting Foundry VTT modules, but we are also supporting each release on Alchemy RPG and Roll20

How will it work?

With each release, you will receive redemption codes for Alchemy RPG and Roll20 which can be redeemed for free on those platforms. For Foundry VTT, nothing will change and you will receive a VTT Pack inside of the files for each release.

Our new VTT content team are two VERY committed and amazing community members. They're Caind'a and Urist on our Discord server so show them some love when ever you get a chance!

How will Past Releases work?

We understand that some people may want previous releases on either Alchemy RPG or Roll20. The problem we face is that neither of those systems gives us the ability to give our backers a site-wide discount code to get a discount on those releases. As such, it's unfortunate, but if you do want one of our previous releases on those platforms, for now at least, you will have to buy them in the typical way and pay the price on those platform to gain access to that functionality. Not ideal, but it's the easiest and most straightforward method for now. If you have questions on this, please let us know!
