AMA Question: Were corner kids allowed to bathe regularly and change into clean clothes, or were they just left there to rot like carcasses?
Added 2019-03-09 23:43:16 +0000 UTCCorner kids were allowed to shower, but that was more for the sake of everyone else. Actually, after being in the corner for months and months, they didn't want to shower or brush their teeth anymore because they were becoming more animalistic in nature.
We brought them down after waking them up very early in the morning (even earlier than the rest of the house) and we threw them in the shower, but they were only allowed a minute or two under the water. Just enough to get the point across that we were in control, even of their hygiene.
