Added 2020-02-13 04:15:37 +0000 UTCI was very happy with how my political candidate videos came out in December, but due to YouTube demonetizing them, they weren't exactly earners. Thank goodness for Patreon. I won't be doing any more videos about specific candidates, but I have been considering doing another video or two related to the election and/or the powers of the president. I have ideas about a video specifically about the importance of democracy even in a rigged system and another video about how much legal authority is given to POTUS.
I'm on the fence, though. Sooo...I will leave it in your hands.

I'm not a US citizen, so personally I feel it's good to have contrarian opinions especially from those living in the country to get a better picture of what is happening on the ground. Major (respectable) news publications like The Economist would have one believe that Pete Buttigieg is a left of centre candidate and by all accounts a safe (and sane) choice - much like they did Obama. Not to mention going by those same sources one wouldn't have picked Trump to win in 2016 nor Brexit to happen but I digress. I just want to say I actually learned something new from your Buttigieg video. Keep up the good work!

2020-02-13 08:01:28 +0000 UTCI personally found the candidate videos in December a little dry, though that might just be me as I live in Canada so I’m not as informed about the lesser known candidates. I just think videos about overarching themes and topics are more effective in terms of impact, providing context and reaching a wider audience. Though the one exception for me (in terms of being focused on one politician) was your video on W which was very effective. I think covering the topics you mention here is a great idea.
