Polls#1: Posting WIPs

This has been bothering me for long while. In order to get my $5 Patrons who have been supporting me for a while to be more involved, I really wanted to show off my work to you guys. But I'm indecisive as to how.

Should I post the game on a bi weekly with little to no bug testing? I perhaps can show little of the progress on a bi weekly but it will be quite a bother to get stuck due to bugs. Not to mention saving the game during these phases will be risky because level and event designs aren't final.

Or should I maintain as it is... And post a WIP AFTER I did a lot of bug testing myself? Much time were consumed in this phase but you'll get pretty much a workable section of the game.

That is very true. It depends entirely on the extent to which you would find bug reports from patrons helpful.

Well I can put the untested WIP (beta version) out first. Once the debugging is done (After receiving bug reports from patrons) I will post a non-beta version out. Not sure if I should do the former then the latter... or should do the latter. I can't have the latter without performing the former first.

Why not both? Presenting both tested and nontested (and labelled) versions will allow patrons to choose which builds they wish to download. Patrons who download the untested versions do so at their own risk, but they can contribute by finding and reporting the bugs that they find. It depends on whether you would find it useful to receive bug reports from patrons.
