August Review

Alright, though I'm still not at a hundred percent I did want to get this out here before the end of actual August rolls around.  So this certainly could be considered a month of ups and downs, a lot of things came into play as well that might make this a bit of a text wall.

So the first thing to report is sadly I didn't get nearly as much work done as I wanted to this month.  The aforementioned anxiety that I had been facing throughout most of the month really took a toll on my creative aspect and though I try not to use it as an excuse it definitely didn't help.  Thankfully though that anxiety for the most part is over, which means that in September I'm going to try and get a lot of work done.  While I won't go too much into detail about it basically my mate got a promotion that will allow me to use more of my funds and my patreon was shut down for a time that worried me a lot.

Speaking of creating in September, I am planning on doing another lockdown for the month in order to pump out as much content as possible.  The big priorities are:

Rain and Shine:  The game has taken a bit of a hit in its updates due to the increasing complexity of the game's puzzles, but I want those who have diligently supporting it through the ten dollar tier to know that your patience will soon be very much rewarded.  The bulk of my focus is going towards the finishing of all the routes, the one voted on by the twenty five dollar tier, followed by the overhaul of the entire system.  I might get art and sounds into it too, but that's an ongoing project for sure.

Commissions:  With the clock still ticking away I have a number of commissions entering the red zone and I need to get these done.  Thankfully I'm not adding any more into the queue so it's going to be nice to watch the lists grow smaller any maybe even disappear completely.  It's thanks to this patreon that I can even consider doing this.

Then of course I'll be doing other things as well, but we're definitely going to try and knock some stuff out of the park.

Now for the big highlight of August that I can finally say: I had recently gone to IFC and as usual I had a blast.  I do a lot of panels there and other things so I'm always really busy, and at the end of the con I was named one of the two Guests of Honors for 2019!  It's a huge honor and I'm so proud to be named for something like that, I still can't believe that it's actually happening and I'm really looking forward to being there.  I'm already looking forward to next year, can't wait to see what comes about from such a thing.  :P

So that's the big thing for August, a shining note at the end of a so-so month.  I already mentioned what's going down for September so fingers are crossed for a very, very productive month of playing catch up.  There are no cons in September either so we have all thirty days to make some good stuff!  Also don't forget September is double referral points month, let's grow the patreon so I can do some awesome things!
