The Mercedes-Benz 560 SEC was a stunning car to begin with, but Koenig Specials took it to the next level. Their modified version of the 560 SEC was a widebody beast with a bold and aggressive look, and a supercharged engine that produced over 400 horsepower. It was the perfect car for the excess of the late 1980s, and it remains a highly sought-after classic today.

Starting from the 560 SEC AMG version, I tried to recreate the Koenig Specials model of the Mercedes 560 SEC as faithfully as possible.
There are many variants of this model, particularly with regard to engine tuning, which here features the most powerful of all versions, the twin turbo.
For this model I found very little information available online, anyway I think we know enough to create this Assetto Corsa mod, which shouldn't be too far from reality!
Perhaps the biggest difference is in the gearbox, which, being automatic, is not perfectly represented here.

2024-07-09 17:35:20 +0000 UTCNice! But I think that the car would look much better if the exterior AO map actually had some shadows, now it's way too bright. EDIT: Never mind, I already got the fixed version.
