How to Shoot without HSS
Added 2024-05-24 19:15:10 +0000 UTCMany of us know, HSS is a luxury that many flashes don't have. So here's how you combat that if you don't have it on your flash!
You're going to have to sacrifice a good chunk of the blurry backgrounds you be seeing here and there but it's okay because the image can still look amazing.
All you're going to do is compensate for the F stop instead of the shutter speed.
On flashes that shutter speed caps out around 200 before it starts doing wonky shit without HSS so instead of touching that, keep your iso and shutter constant and play around with the f stop and the light settings and you'll achieve a crispy shot.
