Thanks, I may do a tutorial someday, but I can break down how it works for you here. Basically it' a traditional IK/FK arm rig, with the 5 feathers at the end acting as the "fingers". Each of the feathers on the arm are rigged to their own separate set of joints which are constrained to controllers. These controllers are in groups that follow a set-driven key like system that repositions them depending on the movement of the arms. This way the feathers realign themselves with the wings movement, and can be overridden with animation
