Dungeon Livestock: Fish

Ever since the defeat of the dungeon demon, the chimera involved in that event have become the new interest in many underground monster community…

Lost adventurers are captured and sold as a customizable chimera… while adventurers that perished are revived into a chimera livestock.

The most popular livestock chimera are the egg laying types; Birds and fishes, sometimes even some reptiles like snakes.

If the transmutation is manipulated correctly, these chimeras will not only lay eggs, they will also provide milk;

needles to say, this criteria also means that the base of the chimera will have to be exclusively female adventurers.

Among the adventurers…

female half-elves are the highest in demand…

They have the lifespan and mana capacity of the elves and a lower magic resistance from being a half breed;

Followed by humans, despite the average quality of their produce, human based chimeras are the largest in quantity because they are the easiest to mix with monsters.

Pure elves are difficult to transmute into chimeras due to their high magic resistance;

and even if successful, their produce are highly concentrated in mana which is very overwhelming, while non-elf tend to produce the most average which are not different to regular monster products.

The absolute restriction to “never fully transform the head (mind) and upper body (chest/heart)” was implemented in order for the chimera to preserve their consciousness as a human or half-elf.

Most clients are happy with chimeras that can produce the minimum target of eggs or milk.

Some clients, however, still managed to find a way to push the limits even with the restriction;

“it doesn’t need hands”, “I don’t want it to speak”, the reasoning varies, but it’s mostly to deprive the chimera’s ability to resist or just simply the client’s perversion.

Often times, the unfortunate adventurers loses their humanoid body and will only be left with their head and very little of their upper body mainly around the heart and breasts for milk production.

The quality and quantity of the produce is directly related to the blending rate of the chimera.

The non-monster part (human or half-elf part) determines the concentration of mana,

while the monster part determines the characteristics and quality of the chimera products.

The more the monster part is, the more normal the produce will look and taste, which is preferred;

And the smaller percentage of the non-monster part means the mana is more condense and concentrated, which dictates the amount of the eggs and milk the chimera will make in its single cycle.
