[Tier 3] SEVENTEEN - Fast Pace (Lyrics + Diamond Edge + Power of Love)
Added 2025-11-15 13:00:13 +0000 UTCOKAY FINE. This was STUPID good, with one of the BEST performance vids we've seen from SVT thus far XD
Yup. You know which one we're talking about. POWER OF LOVE.
But in all honesty, ALL versions were incredible in their own right.
The original had that funky Primary/JYP sound that we've never heard from SVT before, at least so far in our journey; the Diamond Edge performance with the guitar-oriented arrangement made things more seductive, resentful, and sexyyyyyy :D; and of course, POWER OF LOVE.
AND SOMEHOW, our favourite part—the prechorus with Woozi—never got ruined with a different arrangement. As we explain briefly, it's because each of the three arrangements represents a piece of the puzzle that completes Fast Pace.
Okay. Enough. Need a break.
Let us know what you thought about this one XD can't wait to hear your thoughts
and as always, please give us some good links for the next track, Don't Listen in Secret! :)
Enjoy <3

I Love this song, and your reaction...but I guess I'll have to wait for you to come back for the original choreo...I really loved it, and more because Hoshi made it completly by himself when they were still trainees. (sorry for my english)

2025-11-15 13:49:53 +0000 UTCI'm so smug that I managed to guess your reactions to the song and the Power of Love performance. It's just a life changing performance, and the song is so good - Woozi actually wrote that one predebut, and it's one of the songs that later got dug out and repolished before getting added to an album. I'm so glad, it's the breakup song of the decade in my eyes. AND NO ONE WAS EVEN BROKEN UP WITH! The PoL arrangement is also awesome, and yes I agree, Woozi's verse is the best. If you ever circle back, you'll the choregraphy is much cooler than what the cuts in the concerts show. The reason the China line weren't there is because during the Fall of 2021 they both went to China for work. Jun worked on filming a drama, and The8 appeared in different shows and I think also did brand photoshoots. I think it took long because it was during COVID and quarantine practices were in place, so they had to stay there and couldn't participate. I don't know exactly who, but usually the people who do the Seventeen arrangments at least in recent years are the people from Bumzu's company called PRISMFILTER, and Woozi mentions he works with a band master that's called Park Kitae. Out of curiosity I opened the Going Seventeen album to check what songs are left and started laughing. You guys are NOT ready for this combo of songs. Don't Listen in Secret, I Don't Know, and Smile Flower - that's too powerful of a run. BE CAREFUL! What I really like about Don't Listen in Secret, which is a vocal team track, is the unique structure of the verses and the chorus. That's all I'll say, to avoid spoiling too much. But it's one of the vocal team songs they sing in a way that has you going "damn, who hurt you?" It's like Fast Pace's younger sibling.
