I was a little nervous when Z-A was announced, because it being in the future felt strange, but, I was still excited because Legends Arceus was my favorite Pokemon game to come out in a long time, and surely if played similarly I would enjoy it!! Needless to say, that optimism has died down,, I have zero interest in battling, I want to explore and complete catching tasks and quests and stuff........ if a large part of the Z-A was about exploring and discovering all the various nooks and crannies of the city, I'd still be interested, but it's not looking good on that front. I'll wait and see what people have to say when it released, I guess. Also, I know it's basically a given at this point, but I'm sorry I will never accept paid DLC that has substantial content behind it. I was fine with DLC that was cheap and added really small things, like what was usually done during the 3DS era (costumes and extra items, mini bonus quests, things like that), but when there's substantial content locked behind it....... ugh. It bothers me from a preservation standpoint.

2025-09-30 00:07:02 +0000 UTCI'm very excited for the game, but I do think a lot of your concerns are valid. I did expect the Legends series to stick with setting games in the past so it's very weird for the second entry to go in the opposite direction.
