Migration to Monthly Billing this Week and future content plans

Hi Patrons, good eggs,

Amidst everything else going on in the world right now, this week my Patreon migrates from PER CREATION billing to PER MONTH billing. I mentioned in a previous post that I would be looking into doing this. It turns out I am actually REQUIRED to do this because Patreon is getting rid of Per Creation billing. I was not allowed to set my own prices for the monthly tiers and they instead used an average of what I was making per month to redistribute the amount among each tier. I am allowed to change it once migration completes at the end of this week, so my plan is to re-set up the tiers as they were before:

$2 - lowest tier, basic access to early posts and bonus videos (Patreon set this tier to $3 but I will be lowering it back down)

$5 - access to discord server gained, voting on bonus video topics (Patreon did not change this price so it will be staying the same)

$20 - name in credits and topic submission for bonus topics (Patreon set this tier to $10 but I will be increasing it back up)

Since I was uploading once a month until this point, this should basically amount to the same thing people were paying before, now just on a regular basis and on a consistent date. I also do in fact plan to record more bonus videos, I had a small hiccup in my personal life at the end of last month that ate up the time in my schedule I needed to record the bonus video, but I want to figure out a way to make it consistent again. Thank you for your patience while I figure out a good work life balance that allows me to do what I need to do to keep growing creatively while not getting burnt out. It seems to take just a little bit more time and energy than I actually have to give to grow but I'm going to do my best.

This month's video is a collaboration with im a blisy. blisy has mentioned that they're fine with me providing both my link AND their link for early access for you all when the videos are ready, which is very exciting! The following month I actually got a sponsor, so I will be uploading a Gen 3 completionist guide to fulfill my duties for that sponsor. Unfortunately that means the HGSS video and the 2nd essay leading up to that will be pushed into next year. But I plan to not upload anything in January to fully get the Health issues essay done in February and then I can focus 100% of my attention on HGSS.

Also in December, I will be a guest on the 4Kids Flashback Podcast hosted by Tara Sands (Bulbasaur!) and Steve Yurko. We recorded this week. I was very excited/nervous and probably talking too much too fast but it was a lot of fun and I hope the episode turns out well and you all enjoy it.
