Next Story, and New Content Approach

Heyo! So here's the thing~

This new Patreon billing that rolled out in November has been really kicking me, and it's worse each month. Where previously I knew I could regularly post at least once within a calendar month to be sure there was some kind of content (because everyone was charged on the first) Now, almost half of those of you who have subscribed are billed at various times throughout the month. More difficult than that, those of you who are on iOS - your subscription fees aren't available to me for 75 days - two and a half months after you've paid. As a result, things have been rough for me. That's not your fault obviously, I appreciate you all regardless, but it does mean I have to change things.

When I first started releasing comics, I was doing a single comic that was updated a few times a month, or even a few times a week. Part of that was because it would take me 2 - 3 days to make 2 - 3 images. Now I can do the same in a few hours. It also gave me the flexibility to decide where the story should go on the fly, and even based on feedback, and I didn't have to rush to do all of the editing in one or two sessions, I could really focus on every image.

So...that's what I'm returning to. My next story, Lost In Eden Part 4 (which, for reasons, will be called Breakfast in Eden), will be released progressively, and I anticipate that all of my stories will get the same treatment going forward. Right now, I plan to release an update every Wednesday. This will ensure that regardless of when you sign up, you still get content. It also means there is less pressure on me to bust out 100+ images, edit them, do speech bubbles, and try to get a head start for the next month.

(Also also I can experiment with stuff a little more without having to fully commit because of lost time).

For Breakfast In Eden, top tier patrons will get the first 10 images later tonight, full 4K images. Sunday, Tier 5 patrons will receive the next 10 images. Next Wednesday, Tier 4 Patrons will receive the first 10 images in 1080p (Full HD), and will receive the following 10 images in 1080p on that Sunday. $Tier 3 Patrons will receive the Full 1080p version when it the story completes, but I will also be releasing periodic shorter comics at this level for the next 2 months to make up for the gap. There will also be other random content drops periodically to keep things spicy.

I'm sure there will be kinks to work out, and I'm sorry. I would rather make these changes and keep creating content for y'all, than what I considered doing after my last animation, which was to simply quit and pick up a part time job.

Thank you so much for your continued support over the years. I really hope this will help set me up on a course to keep the content going, things are a little rocky on that front right now.
