Colossal - Animated Short Film

Stepping away briefly, Kelly's friends suddenly find themselves shrunken and scattered throughout the space, some on the floor, and others stuck in the assorted pastries in Kelly's light brunch. As Kelly returns, confused at the sudden disappearance of her friends, the group of shrunken friends fight to avoid being stepped on or eaten alive by the massive hostess. Things only get worse for them when a late guest arrives. Nearly 8 minutes, fully unaware, containing feet (ankle boots and peep-toe high heels) crush, in-food vore, mouth and stomach internal scenes. Early access for top tier patrons now, other versions at various tiers in the future.

This project, previously called 'Continental', is my first real effort in Blender! The previous two animated shorts were really just learning exercises, but Colossal really allowed me to put my new animation workflow to the test. I'm proud of how far I've come, and I've learned quite a bit about organizing a project that I will use going forward.
I may or may not make a post about some of the process later - it was nearly a month of trial and error on fluid simulations while other parts of the project were rendering alone, but all that effort can go into upcoming projects now.
What's next? I'm not sure! I've got a couple of ideas in the conceptualization stage already, as well as a couple ideas on returning to some previous projects that may happen, but for now I want to spend some time just practicing using some of the tools I have now without the pressure of a project. However, I have found that I cannot download the videos (because of the age restriction) to my devices using my current programs. I currently use three different apps/providers for downloads. The App Store doesn't offer software to download files from Google services, and even the third-party app I've been using for years has the problem that I would have to log into the app with my Google account to access the video file. But I'm concerned that my account will be blocked if Google sees that my account was logged into an app that is excluded from its App Storeβprecisely because it allows downloads from its services. So, as things stand, it wouldn't be possible for me to have the files on my devices with this video (and with future ones)βunlike your comics, which I find very unfortunate. π I am very curious to see where your work (and video-technical aspects) will lead in the future.
