Please switch to dbz Kai like people are asking. Updated animations and voice acting as well as cutting out all the filler makes it a much more straightforward watch

One episode every few days, maybe one a week? Yeah it'll drag on forever, but so would any show with decent amount of episodes. Some shows can have 30+ episodes a season... there's only 52 weeks in a year, so season and half a year? Ouch. Please binge the sagas like the Avatar books!

2024-09-27 17:53:15 +0000 UTCIt finally dawned on me what you meant. I was gonna disagree with you about the America Version, but I grew up with “Rock The Dragon” w/lyrics and a better guitar. The Japanese version is also 10x better than whatever 80’s cover band is playing this theme.

Thing is I saw people for months asking him to watch it, never once did I see anyone mentioning kicking off DBZ again, honestly the reason I thought he stopped watching was that there was no demand but hey if there is a large group looking forward to it who am I to try and deny them. From the looks of these comments though, most are wanting the shorter version or something different entirely.

He could always switch to Kai which is like a third of the episodes if it gets too lengthy for him but the dudes watching SouthPark episode by episode which will take years too so yeahh, I just don't see that as a good reason to not watch.

Or the Japanese. The soundtracks are different. The score is different. Just compare. The Dub is American, to rock and roll. Wish that's cool but it's not Dragonball. Is one of those situations of, we call it soccer here in America but in the rest of the world they call it football.

2024-09-22 18:33:44 +0000 UTCYeah with DBZ you’ll probably need to watch them 3 episodes at a time. Its not like other half hour shows especially with the intro taking about 5 minutes by itself. Akira Toriyama knew how to make money in Japan because im sure the commercials, multiplied by the 30+ episodes, then syndication on multiple channels, THEN international sales… yeah, he milked every season as long as he could. And you are right, in the states when it was on Toonami, we got 4-5 episodes a week in the afternoon, and 1-2 episodes if you were up during midnight run. It drove me & my friends crazy. Also my mom was bothered by the grunting and yelling while they powerup for 5 minutes at a time and she can hear it from another room like Boy what are you watching.

I'm so sorry if this is the case, these are cool but you missed out on one the best things of db which is their original theme songs. PLEASE LEO I BEG YOU PLAY THE OG JAPANESE THEME SONGS. I grew up watching dbz in Spanish which are the Japanese ones sang in Spanish but I just saw America got a completely different set of intros and outros which makes me want to cry lol PLEEEEEEEASE IN MEMORY OF AKIRA TORIYAMA, LISTEN TO THE JAPANESE VERSION OF THE INTROS AND OUTROS T_T Also you might as well just do the kai version is you dont want the episodes that drag and fillers but again stick to the og japanese theme songs cause English ones just dont hit the same when you can't sing a long to it. I dont remember the last time I saw you this unhyped during an intro lmao

2024-09-22 03:45:43 +0000 UTCThe correct and only way to watch DBZ is with the Bruce Falcouner score, please try to switch to that one, just Google it you'll find it. This is the OG Japanese score, which is fine for the time, but Bruce's is next level and really emphasizes the epic moments.
