The tag beside the painting spoke of the importance of sexual health, responsibility, and AIDS. At first the convention did not want the painting on display citing adult content, but the artist and fans pressed stating that sex is an important part of the fannish was more than an insult, it was hypocritical in light of how many female nudes are regularly on display in the art show. I respect and admire both the work and artist. Happy Birthday, Kristofer! Get the hell off my lawn.
