Something fun to play around with ChatGPT is having it do something for you that you don't know much or anything about. For example, I'm vaguely familiar enough with the Lovecraftian world to know a few characters and a vague idea of the kind of atmosphere created with creepy word play. But not much more than that. So when I tell it to write a short story in the spirit of HP Lovecraft using existing characters and unique new ones; I recognize a couple and then couldn't tell you which ones are other authentic characters or ones that are made up. Just interesting to see it from the perspective of a non-expert. Good enough (or human-creation passing) is where the majority believe it is the quality you (the expert) expect it to be. Whether it is doesn't really matter eventually. I'm working on a project for it to follow my instructions to walk me through downloading free coding software (VS Code combined with a couple official plugins for it that it told me how to get also free), and create a calculator with buttons and a screen rather than just a text based prompt. Using what I learn about instructing it to tell me how to do this, I'm going to attempt to design something I haven't thought of yet that will improve my quality of life, or enhance something I already do in some way.
