I know, im kinda late, but i suggest fang-formed katar, more than knuckle, less than full sword. Considering combat skills that her Companion most likely use, allowing deliver deep painful wounds. Apex look and reference to her kin as cherry on top. Or... push-dagger, as cheap, modern (and easier for modeling) version of it.

Could be kind of cute if it was multiple rings that he gives to people he is close with. Maybe it has a specail property that would allow them to stay "connected" to who ever wears the rings?
