Hello everyone,

I just wanted to let you know that I am done with Chapter 9. However, Chapter 9 is not done yet. As I mentioned in an earlier post, I’ve hired someone to handle some of the animations. Once those are completed, which I hope will be by the end of the week, Chapter 9 will be fully ready. After that, it will go through proofreading, and then it will be published here on Patreon.

For all Dark One patrons, if you would like to be credited under a different name or not at all, please send me a direct message within the next few days.

Thank you guys so much for your support, Companion of Darkness wouldn't exist with you and I hope you will like Chapter 9.

edit: I've noticed in some chatrooms talk that Chapter 9 of Companion of Darkness will be released this Sunday, so I wanted to clarify. It will not release this Sunday.
While I’m expecting to receive the animations by Sunday (though it's not 100% certain, it's highly likely), I still need to code them into the game, which will take some time. After that, the chapter will be sent to my proofreader, who will also need some time to do their work.

So, unfortunately, a Sunday release isn't possible. However, releasing Chapter 9 in about 10days or so sounds resonable, although not guaranteed. Now that I'm collaborating with others, the timeline isn't entirely in my control, so I can't say for sure.

I can assure you that my part is complete, and I'm currently working on extra bug fixes to ensure the game gets abit more polished
