In that scene they make a point to show Geto slightly stepping backwards after he summons his curses. Right as he steps backwards the old guy notices it and that's when he made his plan.

2024-09-21 09:21:14 +0000 UTCClarifications Cursed beast = shikigami (i think it’s your translations that’s all) Geto literally beat his ass so bad his life flashed before his eyes. he didn’t put him in like a dream or anything lol Geto just has high battle IQ and could just tell the guy wanted to get in close. He can’t read minds. Geto smile isn’t fake here. He’s a good guy. Toji (Fushiguro) legit doesn’t remember Megumi. Toji is using the $ he got to assassinate her to use as a bounty to wear Gojo because Gojo is basically impossible to beat without a plan. He knows he won’t lose to any of them bc his technique. Gojo is not even close to where he is in S1. He can’t use infinity 24/7 and doesn’t know how to do reversal red yet. Shoko is the doctor from S1 and the movie.
