Brant - Scoundrel Mod Version

I finally made it work!

I finally made it work! I got inspired by an old mod you might have seen which had "sexual" features and a collar area partially damaged. I was confident I could do better more SFW, while also keeping the mesh integrity to high quality. So I started with the same idea of removing all his upper layers of armor/clothes only to let somekind of a casual pirate outfit. Combined to my previous textures and with a substantial work to restore colors/tones/light levels I could give birth to this "scoundrel" version of Brant. You can notice I had my fun twisting the original mesh of those gold chain to transform them into some pirate necklaces. May be It can feels a bit minimalist without all those subsequent piece of armor he wears in vanilla but I still found it quite enjoyable. Just like if he was from another pirate game or something!

Although there are some limitation : I kept the "hazelnut/blond" hair color because the vanilla one felt off. You can replace it to check that by yourself with the alternative files, that should not be an issue. As for his outfit, I'm afraid it will only work with those unique textures and that's why it stays independant to any other Brant mod. Like I said, I did a very intensive work to correct and restore a lot of details/luminosity on shoulders/arms/chest and if you try to put any other external texture over it, the result might be glitchy (mainly shadowed, desaturated shoulders/torso/arms)

Okay that's all! Enjoy this extra my carrot soldiers!

Brant - Scoundrel Mod Version

Thanks mate! to answer your question I'll try to explain issues in whole, apoligize if it's a long explanation : First, a good number of mod creators received negative feedbacks the past 3-4 months about toggleable mods inherent issues. It seems having too much toggleable mods active at the same time can result conflicts that can create crash/glitch or mods not working properly or not at all (only toggleable ones are affected). I don't know if you noticed but since a little while we all now limit the number of toggleable mods we produce (unless the creator choose to ignore it). As for myself I now make a toggleable mod only if it's 200% relevant. So I also advise you to limit the number of toggleable mods you deploy and keep only those you are certain to toggle frequently. Back to Brant, I indeed think I would need a toggleable version mod for him (same reasons as you and more). Thing is, I am not able to make it for now because his case is way more sensible than the past toggleable mods I created so far. The hat removal implies both texture and 3D model edits at the same time in more complexe way than before. Separately I have no issue making it for textures (changing colors, etc.), or making it for 3D models change (like removing a scarf, a ribbon etc.) but this time I have to combine everything and make it change in a "jerky" rythm/code because the hat removal require many changes on several aspect of the code/files. But don't worry much you know, I'm part of a mod creator alliance and we isolated this kind of case lately and we are currently trying to figure a solution for it out on our free time. We only made a bit of progress but I really hope we will be able to crack it soon. It's sadly far more complexe than what we expected. Anyways just so you know that I'm on it, I too imagined a toggleable mod for Brant and I'll try my best to make it. In any case don't forget the first point as well and sorry for the long reading!

These are peak quality, so amazing, thank you for your work! I am wondering, however, since I tend to sometimes want a hat on, sometimes off, sometimes cape and sometimes not... do you have in plan to make a merged mod with toggle functions for your mods? Sorry if this was discussed before!
