She had multiple options to take and try and make their relationship work but she selfishly chose the one that she knew would hurt him. Which is ironic because in the comics Star was always loyal and Dick was the one who cheated several times.

I know the start was meant to make Starfire more sympathetic, but I don't care. Like I said last chapter, she's not stupid, she's an asshole. They apparently had the monogamy talk, and rather than try ease him into it when it comes to Tamaranian Free Love, maybe propose or even set up a threesome with say Kara or Raven.... she decided to cheat on him. She's the bad guy in this situation, not Dick.
