REEL animation / Hybrid Lore

Unfortunately, I can't tell much about the reel because I don't want to spoil anything. Still, I would like to tell you something about hybrids in general.

Rarely do female humans and male EZ'NOZ produces offspring. In typical cases, this is not possible. For this reason, a hybrid is very rare and unique.

The female often dies before or during birth, as a hybrid baby eats the mother from the inside and rips open the mother's abdomen to get out. In rare cases, the mother stays alive if the baby in the womb gets enough and the right food. Hybrid babies are very different from EZ'NOZ babies or human babies. Immediately after birth, they can see, crawl, jump, and eat. But growing a hybrid is almost impossible. They are very exhausting and particularly aggressive. They need constant food and exercise; otherwise, the baby hybrid could go insane and berserk, killing anyone nearby out of frustration. Hybrids are like wild beasts that have endless energy. They also often confuse killing with playing. 

When a hybrid forms a strong bond with someone and attaches to them, they become incredibly loyal. They have an appeal to protect "their" individual. But that bond doesn't evolve over time. It happens suddenly, and they feel attracted to an individual. Even when the bond is there, it's hard for a hybrid to understand their feelings. They don't know what is right or wrong and can often accidentally hurt the individual they love so much. But suppose the individual is understanding and willing to engage. In that case, teaching the hybrid everything will take time and patience. I mean really everything. Even if you were to cry in front of a hybrid, they wouldn't understand and ask why your eyes are watering. Hybrids cannot empathize and do not understand emotions. But if they really want it, they can learn to understand it over time. They are capable of learning fast and are incredibly clever. Also, they would do anything for the person they become attached to.

Hybrids have minds of their own and are born to hunt, kill and play. But this is particularly dangerous if nobody stops them because the hybrids will eventually berserk and become callous killers.
