Congratulations on the impending release! What is the plan for this Patreon after it has been released?

Ahoy there! I saw a video of Foundry VTT and straight away had to become a patreon - it looks awesome! As someone who's a complete noob when it's comes to VTT's however, I was wondering if there are any complete beginner tutorials around? Like, how do I begin making scenes from scratch and importing tilesets etc?

It's really good to see it come this far.

Great news!

Congrats! I've been running/writing rulesets for VTTs for about 10 years and really have to commend your work on this. The look and feel is stunning, being able to self host on remote servers has been a want of mine for a decade, and extend-ability is the best in the market right now. I've also really appreciated the way you support other Patreons and projects. I do hope you continue with Patreon in some form to keep some recurring revenue going. Maybe use it as a community for beta access and perhaps even early ruleset access/testing.

Any plans for pre-packaged content?

Sweet! Just backed yesterday and had a server up and running on my own machine in about an hour.

The price will be prorated in some fashion based on their "contributions and time as a sponsor"

This has probably been answered already but do patreon subscribers with the beta need to pay full price for the license?

Players only need to have a web browser. Only the GM needs to have the paid version running on a server or machine they control.

Ben

That's right. Players connect through a shared link.

Only the GM needs a copy right?

Awesome! Any chance for a "foot the bill for your friends" version? As in a free version that can only connect to a host with a multi-user license? My gamers are cheap and easier for me if i don't have to convince every individual friend to buy it or let me buy it for them.
