2029 April Hayley Pages

Whoa. This was a surprise. Touching on a bit of drama this week, hope you all love the development! We've got a great schedule coming up, Trio Trouble next week and then Ayyla. It's a long way off, but I'll be taking December 17th as a vacation week just fyi. (edit: or maybe not)

Roger and Hayley leave a restaurant downtown and chat as they head back to their apartment. “You know, I bought those platform heels online almost as a joke.” Roger says.

“Of course. And I’m wearing them, as a joke.” Hayley muses, a sly smile spreading on her face as she passes a streetlight. She marvels at the height she has obtained as of late, even things like lampposts were seemingly thinner and shorter every month.

Suddenly, a man accosts the pair by stepping from a dark alleyway. “Hold it …w-whoa!” The man brandishes a knife but gets stunned by the towering amazon, Hayley looming over the robber with her jaw dropped and arms raised to protect herself.

“H-hey now, cmon…” Roger begins to say, pushing an arm in front of Hayley’s legs to protect his lover. The pair knew muggings were a possibility, albeit rare, and were paying the price.

Or, they would be, provided that Hayley was not a nearly nine foot tall muscled amazon. Acting out of character, Hayley finds herself leaning down to deftly grab the man’s sides. She lifts him, feeling a strong need to protect herself and roger, finding that she was able to loft the man several feet into the air with ease. “W-what are you doing??” He cries out, leaving a fraught Hayley to reply in kind.

“I could ask you the same thing!” Clattering to the ground, the man becomes unarmed.

Hayley’s grip on the man releases as he is unceremoniously dropped into a dumpster. Scooping up Roger without another word, Hayley books it down the street, strongly and powerfully striding as best she can in heels to get as far from the thief as she could and toward a nearby police station.

“H-hayley slow down!” Roger says, firmly tucked under her arm.

“You say you… picked him up?” A bewildered police force listens to the account of the young woman’s run-in with a locally known thief. Hayley nods, sitting as she comes down from an adrenaline rush. Her heels had snapped from the run, not built for such quick and heavy impacts.

“We got him, boss. He was still in the dumpster.” A lieutenant says, to a few officer’s chuckles. Bringing the thief over to a detention cell, Hayley and Roger both breath a sigh of relief as their sudden adventure comes to a close as quickly as it had begun.
