2025-08-27 04:17:17 +0000 UTCyes well the fact that Melissa literally had Barrows symptoms listed right next to Stiles made it seem like they must have experienced the same thing which is why we thought maybe he was possessed. Maybe thats an answer we never really get? but would be so interesting to see how barrow was before but as of now we do think the nogitsune was in barrow before it makes sense to us. cause otherwise idk how he would know what info he did know. And yea the scene with Scott and Derek was so good we dont really get why they spent so much time having Scott be so anti-derek whilst simultaneously needing him esp in the beginning. Cant wait to see more team ups!

I always thought that the Nogitsune latched onto Stiles' mind after they did that ritual with the Nemeton, and since the Nogitsune is a trickster spirit, it used that "ajar" riddle to tell them their minds were still open. I think it was in a state where it could mess with Stiles' mind (like the sleepwalking and the inception dreams) but couldn't do much else until Barrow forced Kira to use her foxfire to jumpstart the Nogitsune into being able to fully possess Stiles. I also agree with you on the fact that Scott and Derek deserve more mentor/mentee scenes together because let's be honest Scott would NOT be where he is without Derek's (and Stiles') help. I would've really like if the writers, directors, whoever would've emphasized on the "found brother" relationship they have with each other between the first season and now.
