PATREON UPDATE - NEW TIERS

Hope you're enjoying the new JPDE2 Volume 2 release, plus all the new projects me and the team have been working on! BABELOMANIA is full steam ahead, and I hope you gave a try to Hawks of Bruyland and you're going to be there for Tales of the Kinkeeper~

We're here today to discuss some announcements when it comes to tiers and funding for the Project. I have been musing about these changes for a while, and I think the time is right.

The changes come mainly because of three factors:

I can't in good conscience keep on asking people for 40 or 60 bucks a month for Voting that isn't happening as regularly anymore because of many restrictions. It's not right. Those tiers need to go.
If people want to give more to the project to support us, that's fine, but they're gone.
Patreon is forcing everyone on the website to switch to Subscription Billing (aka payment recurring on the day of your first subscription) because of Apple's changes to their App Store.
Any tier that's below 3$ dollars gives Patreon most of the money a person gives, which means that most people who are only able to give 1$ are contributing more to Patreon's coffee jar than to JPDE.

So, now that my financial situation is a bit more stable and I can invest some of my own money in game devving again, it's time to make the switch and maybe take a hit. Venturing into the unknown together, guys.

The Old Tiers will not be gone and if you want to keep them, you're allowed to, but they will be locked and no new Patrons will be able to switch to those any longer.
