That first one was actually my first MP3 player, and it was total garb. Can't remember how much it cost, but less than A$50 definitely, something more like $35 I wanna say. Was dead simple to use though, but I wish I would've saved up for an iPod Mini (have one now thanks to your recommendation)

Oh my god i had this Creative nugget. I was too young to know how the c o m p u t o r works so i asked my dad to get me some hip songs from snoop dogg and 50 cent. Lucky for me, he listened and got me Nine Inch Nails With Teeth and Ally McBeal soundtrack.

the vmigo was a really weird virtual pet competitor back when tamagotchis were everywhere. if youre curious the bottom thing is to connect it to a plug & play setup. i don't own one i just know too much about virtual pets

I'M LATE BUT WHO CARES. LISTEN. Can I tell you a story? I ABSOLUTELY had that first nugget! All 128mb of it! AND I LOVED IT! I would constantly be putting new albums on it, ripped albums, whatever. But my most treasured memory? In late 2006, around Christmas, a friend gave me a CD of a new Daft Punk live album, said it was gonna be Alive2007, didn't have track names but you can figure that stuff out, yeah? EXCEPT. Alive 2007 wasn't even RECORDED until 2007?? So what was this?? I had the 2006 Cochella bootleg and was *absolutely certain* it was the official thing for over a YEAR before actually buying the album legit. And it only ever lived on this nugget.

*Pulls out the Creative flash drive MP3 Player* DUDE, that was like, my freaking CHILDHOOD there. For the longest time I had a CD walkman, and then finally one day I got that thing and effectively used it so much it wore out. It would last so long on that one AAA. Best part, when I got a replacement radio in my first car, it had USB connection, so I just unplugged the battery pack and plugged it into my car. It was amazing.

idk if you'll ever see this, but the vmigo was a dog game console thing with a console base and a controller and a little handheld thing like you had there. I had one when i was a kid but i completely forgot about it until now. if anyone else is interested to see what the whole set looks like, just google vmigo dog game. You could find the first in Cheetos bags during a promotion at the time. Based on that bag, this was the case. The last one is a handheld virtual pet thing from Jakks Pacific. And they sell for quite a lot if working.

My Mom has the 128 MB version of that Creative Muvo, and still uses it, no joke, as the dedicated nugget for when she's on the treadmill. Still uses the Windows XP-era software that downconverts music to something like 32 Kbps.

Yep my guess is bluetooth. The antenna probably isn't big enough for AM/FM radio

I had one of those Vmigos as a kid. It unfortunately stopped working one day but I defiantly played it a ton. My god those dogs where needy though. Would wake up in the morning and you almost always had to go to the vet because you left you're dog alone for too long, lol.

Interestingly that wiwoo one had some kind of wireless ability. When you broke it open on one side there was like this secluded zigzag of tracing on the circuit board. That basically super easy antenna. So I would assume it wasn't just any regular old nugget.

I have one very similar to the yellow one, the switch on the bottom is an outright battery disconnect. Next time you see one like that, try flippin' the switch, it might help.

Hey, my first one was the poo! Battery life was about 2 times around the music. I got tired of feeding it batteries. And it starved. The end.

That first mp3 player was my first mp3 player! i still have it... granted its a sticky mess now but it still works and i have fond memories of how terrible it is.

I just love it when it's nugget time.

I had that Migo device when I was a kid!! It was a portable game that was basically a knock-off of Nintendogs. That weird connector was so you could plug it into it’s dock and it’d display on the TV in all of its ~480p goodness. (Nintendo Switch eat your heart out) I’m not sure how it ended up in a bag full of MP3 players, but what a wave of nostalgia for me!

I ordered a pair of HD600's about a week back and they just came in today! I've been trying them out with my Fiio BTR5 and they sound pretty good compared to my Corsair gaming headset that I was using before.

That first one was my daily driver in school. It was a pain to use, but i just loved not having a bulky walkman or skippy cd-player with me. It did hold out surprisingly long for a couple of years. Can't say I miss it, though.

A MuVo TX FM was my first ever mp3 player growing up, so stoked to see one pop up in your nugg bag!

(except mine was teal not yellow) 1- Its Mahdi not Mahoi 2- It was a great nugget back in the day, SD expansion, micro usb (which was new at the time), good headphones, Good UI, good amount of storage and the built in speaker was actually decent. It would probably be an absolute garbage pile to use today but man did I love it
