We said last week the next season of Amex would be referrals.
Maybe we were wrong, and upgrades are a better path
Showing on all my green/gold was an offer for 15k/$4k up to 5 times (75k MR)
Then you had a link shared by a member in the #amex channel that worked for a 120k upgrade for $10k spend
And as if that wasn’t enough, after upgrading I am seeing new 15k/$4k POID links on these new Business platinum cards
Lots of spend ($40,000), but would net a nice haul for the $695 annual fee.

22:55 AA Mile Deployment already pays dividends
Last week mentioned I booked flights with my AA miles
One was LAX-LHR on AA (with a connection in ORD)
Just a week later, I received notice that the connection in ORD went from 2 hrs to 12 hours
Quick message on twitter DM “there was a significant change, can you move me to AA136 (nonstop).
Twitter rep came back minutes later with the change confirmed.
Asked again the next day on twitter to change to a different AA nonstop. No pushback, made the second change.
I paid 55,000 per person, the flight on the nonstop was pricing over 235K per person.
Will I take this? I don’t know!
LAX-PHL-FCO also received and email with ~2hr change. Haven’t messed with this flight yet.
