Beachboi Draak

He was very interested in the specific proportions of an ancient statue that I needed to reference while drawing him, and I believe that's why I may have emphasized the muscles a touch more than was necessary. Having picked one of my preparatory sketches himself, it was very important to him that the figure felt a little more androgynous than a typical masculine bodybuilder would (Draak is into bodybuilding), which is why this picture has a flattened perspective. Coincidentally, just exactly right for a horrible Plastic Beach version (do note that we don't like pollution, we just make bad jokes about Draak being a fish.)
As a result of the art direction which he applied liberally while we were hanging out, I think I might have actually been tricked into doing something weirdly close to a reference for him. It was still touching that he wanted something from me rather than someone who was more specialized in this kinda stuff, but he may have been doing it because he knew I would be his doormat. Oh snug! Just kidding :P
