This kingdom is lead by the wise headed rulership of their princess, trapped as she is behind spells and stone. This kingdom is filled with those who have lost all else but their wits and will to live. The cold calculus of survival rules the day. In the south, even beset on all sides, they fight, in the north, where escape into human and beastfolk lands is possible, they treat with their tormentors in hopes that they can strike a better bargain than the Fey.
