What REALLY Happened to Waltermelon [ALT ENDING]

There is part of this video that didn't get posted. The Ultimate Fate of Walter the Watermelon, and the untold moral struggle behind it.

What REALLY Happened to Waltermelon [ALT ENDING]

Yes, you did the right thing kicking the watermelon back into nature where it came from. I was genuinely curious what you did with it afterwards since you didn't mention it in the video. So it was cool to find out its fate. Millions of trees drop fruit onto the ground every day, it's not littering. Granted, it would be a little out of place up there where there certainly aren't watermelons growing or much of anything else but anyway, you did the right thing. It would have been a major hassle and actually a risk to have tried to take it back down the mountain.

Just think, in 200 years when there's no more snow on Kilimanjaro, at least there could be a healthy crop of watermelons. It will be a mystery to everyone then, but we know the truth. Seriously, I think you posing the question demonstrates that you are conflicted at what happened but ultimately your conscience is clear and you have accomplished an amazing feat. Poor Walter, though. Looking forward to your next challenge! ๐Ÿ‰

Probably would have thrown it the farthest has I could so it could get farther down where there's more animal/soil to decompose it. But, with the tough trek you had, it's normal to not think about those little details and so I wouldn't worry about it. Plus, it a fruit, it will eventually disapear, it will just take longer since it's colder ;)

Since it was blown to smithereens when you kicked it. Just think it will be a good source of fertilizer to the soil/forest below? It will break down faster (since its in smaller pieces)and with the added moisture from the rain. It might be more beneficial than harmful to the environment. Think positive, Mike. Thats the best way to get through anything. You might be a dragon... but we all make mistakes. And mistakes are crucial to learning and development. Like what Brandon said, we are just glad both you and Eva are safe. Now, on to your next adventure!๐Ÿ‰

Very interesting question, man. It probably wasn't the best choice to punt Walter off the side of Kilimanjaro, but I also understand that, with the altitude sickness, you probably weren't in the right frame of mind. You live, you make mistakes, you learn. More than anything else, I'm just glad you're OK!
