The Philippines has a very rich supernatural/mystical culture that I find to be extremely interesting. Imagine, the Philippines is the most Catholic country in Asia and yet we have a lot of stories about kapre (half human/half horse), dwende (dwarf), mangkukulam/mangbabarang (witches), and other mystical creatures. 🐉😉

Loved this! I've always been fascinated by the macabre so this is a treat for me. 😄 I remember getting up close to some coffins inside the caves in Sagada and seeing the traditional burial grounds of the Badjaos (sea gypsies) in Sulu. Very interesting experiences! Quite spiritual and haunting in a way but very informative. Not gonna lie, it can get a little creepy and scary too. But as some would say, "Bliss is just on the other side of fear." Looking forward to more weird, wonderful and unusual adventures from you, Mike! 👌🏼🐉🐉🐉🐉🇵🇭

If you had filmed much longer, it would have become clear that you were The Ant-Man, Mike. And that fig strangler would have proven to be your immortal excuse instead of the apocalyptic occurrence. :-) And those ants must have been the version of Banyan wasps since the latter inhabits in Banyan fruits. Haha, is it weird that I didn't find this story that unsettling? Maybe I've become so accustomed to seeing worms wriggle around in your skin and spears jutting through men's faces that this didn't faze me at all! Although your "No, thank you!" made me laugh really hard. 🤣 But seriously, that is a pretty wild story. I agree with Roland, your storytelling skills are second to none. You're fantastic at immediately sucking us in, painting a mental picture of your surroundings, setting the mood, and building the tension over the course of several minutes. It's a really remarkable skill. While I don't think you're a zombie (at least I hope you're not one), it made me think: I would LOVE to see you investigate the world of voodoo/Vodou in Haiti or Louisiana. Or maybe even Santeria.
