So this week is a bit of a heavy and unusual story. It's about what I didn't show during my meeting with Don Carlos during my "Cursed" YouTube series in Mexico City.

Some stuff happened during that meeting that I don't want to share with everyone on YouTube, and for months I wasn't ready to share it on here either.

But I'm ready to put this out here now. Let me know your thoughts.

I'm very late on this one haha but I would like to tell you that the supernatural world, the "Spirit world" as most would call it is real. In many cultures the people communicate with ancestors, spirits, natural guardians and God. Different cultures have different methods but these gifts are there all over the world. But most strongest in East Africa in the Great lake region.

So I know I'm a bit late to the discussion but I have two stories I feel you might like to hear. So I have always been very skeptical of thing that are claimed to be supernatural but there have been two events in my life that have made me seriously question my skepticism. The first story is of a time my mom and aunt went to a psychic to see if they could contact their mother (my grandma) after her recent passing. This psychic was pretty well known is the community and would see images as a way of communication. So after they went to him we were all driving home and mom my was telling us what her said. She confused with three images that her saw. First was rows of corn, second was a flickering light, and third was a cow. So we all started thinking about those things and then it hit us. Rows of corn is a cornfield and Dr.Cornfield was my grandmas Doctor that she went to for years. The flickering light we think was in reference to the street light on our street that for that past week would turn off and on all night. Then there was the cow. That one still made no sense to us. So we kept thinking about it on the ride home. We got home, and I went on to my computer and there sitting on top of our monitor was a little stuffed cow that was also a monitor duster. So take those as you will but just those three things made me stop and go oh man is this stuff all real? The second story involves my aunt again. What i didn't mention before was that she claims to be able to communicate with animals. Not like she can talk to them through meows and barks but I guess through energy I guess. I have always humored her but am very skeptical until this one story she told us. She was doing a reading on this ladies pet rat. Yes a pet rat. One of the things the pet rat supposably told her was something along the lines of I don't like wearing the hat. My aunt was very confused by this and told the woman, "He doesn't like to wear that hat??". Thats when the woman goes "Oh! I will put him in one of my baseball hats and walk around outside holding the hat". This woman would put her rat in a hat and walk around outside with it?!? First of all what would compel someone to do that? and secondly how would my aunt know that or even guess that like most people would claim. So that was the second time in my life that I went "IS THIS REAL?" Don't get me wrong I'm still very skeptical but those two storied always remain in my mind when people talk about the supernatural.

Thanks for sharing this. Ugh! I think about the silence in the car while driving away. Even though you two had parted, you were still amicable and so you were probably concerned with how her heart felt after that too. Oh Man, there’s so much there. What a beautiful terrible moment.

They claim to be perceptive of spirits, maybe it's just of humans. Either way, these people are very perceptive.

Very interesting perspectives, Marilyn. Thanks for taking the time to give them. This sort of thing is viewed really differently in different parts of the world, and it's true as you point out that much of it can be tied to economic or medical desperation. Hope is one of the most powerful emotions of the human spirit for sure and can even give the body the will to live and heal.

Had to rewatch the Don Carlos vlog just to see if you were both acting different and if Don Carlos can sense it. If you didn’t mention it here I wouldn’t have guessed you’ve broken up that time. Being a ‘psychic’ is not for me. BUT with my dragon sense, I can see a very bright future for you and your channel! THATS A FACT! Soar high🐉!

Like you, I’m very skeptical about these ‘Psychics’. I think most of them are frauds. All they give you are ‘cold readings’. They give the impression that they know things. But they are just great in giving guesses. It might not come from you, but what if he was getting the clues from Marinela? She might still be hurting from the recent break up that night and he could read or see it from her facial expression, body language, manner of speaking. Or it came from you. You said she introduced you as her boyfriend but “ you couldn’t make eye contact “ with Marinela. Isn’t that a clue to him about a breakup? All these little things they can see and interpret. Some can even read the pupils of your eyes if they are dilated. You also said the conversation was being translated to you by Marinela. Are you sure he wasn’t asking her something (that you couldn’t understand) while fishing for answers? They are expert readers of emotions. Its the art of mind reading. In short they are performers. Thanks for sharing this.

A discussion about a topic that is supernatural or mystical in nature is just in time for Halloween, don't you think? 🤔 While science seem to offer logical explanations about most things, I also have a healthy respect for things that are a bit more difficult to explain. In general, I think people from different cultures tend to come up with whatever means to make a dire situation more acceptable and easier to understand. This is true in the Philippines which despite being a predominantly Catholic country, still has traces of paganism rituals stemming from pre-Christianity era. Mike, you have experienced some of these rituals when you travelled with the FighterBoys all around Mindanao. 🙂 So having said that, I do believe that some people are especially "gifted". They can sense better, are more empathetic and perceptive to every word and actions of their audience. There are also a lot of fakes - still perceptive but are really just great "actors". In the case of the former and in situations when people find themselves consulting with faith healers or shamans, I believe that how they react to the experience really determines the outcome. That's why it is often called "faith healing". Coming from a developing 3rd world country with most people living below the poverty line - with little to no means of paying for proper healthcare, a lot of people turn to self medication and even faith healers. This is especially true for terminal sickness or impossible cases. It is even a last recourse for some, something to hold on to that gives them hope.

Awkward man that sucks mucho grande bolas de toro. Breezing over the relationship parts cuz let's face it she seemed hot and cool, them 1s are hard to let go. The spiritual world I have learned is like a door, ignoring fakes and perception seers, Your door is now open a little because you have been exposed, believe a little and are curious. Don Carlos' door is wide open and and his garage is open. Since this you probably see more things that you may have just dismissed before. Thanks for this episode you know I love this series. I'm grateful for this
