Most Insane Experience of my Life [BTS 13]

Well, I did it. Here's my initial thoughts and reactions to one of the most intense experiences in my life.

There's also some sneak peek footage of the event, so FYI.

Let me know your thoughts on this and how I can share this experience with our broader YouTube family.

Love you guys!

It was a very powerful experience for me and I can't wait to share it fully with you

The way you described your body suspension sounds like a very moving and spiritual experience. You even looked really at peace as you were talking about it. I can't wait to hear and see more of this!

Can't wait to post the full video and show more of the BTS!

Holy shit my bro! That sounds like (and looked like) an incredible experience. Would have never picked it! You're awesome.

These are the comments that make me love our community ❤️

Took some time to answer a few!

Thank you Roland!

Kayla don’t open it on the app. It’s buggy. Open it on the website and watch it from Patreon.com

How come I can’t open videos on my phone?

That was shocking. Seeing it on Instagram and Facebook even though Ive already seen it here. I was not expecting it! You never cease to amaze me. Happy birthday, Mike!❤️

You are right Lorelei about some devout Filipino Catholics going through self flagellation and being voluntarily nailed to the cross on Good Friday as a form of repentance, sacrifice and devotion. This is done somewhere in Pampanga in Central Luzon.

I’ve watched your short clip twice and slept on it because I didn’t know how I feel watching you do that. One thing for sure it I could sense happiness or contentment coming out of you. I don’t know and you can correct me if I’m wrong. When you replied that monks used to do it for devotion I somehow related that to Filipinos flagilism (still being practiced here in Europe) and being hang (i never saw this happened here though) on the cross as a sign of devotion and repentance. Very very extreme...I’m glad you did it and you found what you were looking for. If it benefits mind, body and soul I’m all for it Mike. How are the wounds healing so far? Please have it checked and cleaned regularly I know I shouldn’t say that but I’m just being a big sister 😆Well done Mike!

Looks like Jason’s got some good questions. Looking forward to see how mike will answer it on his next video.

I was all ready to switch it off as soon as it started. At first, I thought why would I want to watch something very sadistic and primitive? But i could not turn my eyes away from you and my screen! It was so beautiful, peaceful, spiritual almost ethereal. You didn’t look like you were in pain. It’s not something I would try myself but I’m very happy you came out of it without any complications and you seemed to have discovered what you’re looking for. You can’t deny the smile on your face while explaning. Like it completed you and become whole again. Is it safe enough for YouTube? I don’t see why not. Your audience will be fine as long as they see that you came out of it alive and well. The reason we were apprehensive before is because we didn’t know how dangerous it is. And we didn’t want you harmed with the experience. Did I feel ok because I didn’t see the hooks being inserted part? Maybe. Still hate needles. But let your audience grow with you and you’ll be fine. I’m sure you can make it youtube friendly. Its a big jump from giant clams and bull penis soup😃. But we know you can be freaky at times. Thank you Mike for doing this for the family. Proud I’m a dragon!!

Hahaha. Just responded some more details to Jason's post above if you want to see!

I think a cool video for Patreon would be calling my friend back and asking all the questions that I didn't get a chance to in the video. Most of these I cover, but there are some I didn't. For a quick info dump: It originated somewhere in europe where monks would hang themselves by hooks to prove their devotion. Now, it's still very ritualistic and spiritual. No substances at all the night before or the day of, fishing hooks with the bard removed were what people used for a long time, now it's pierced much like a normal piercing, then a bar is slid through, and a small clamp attached. Two to Four points on the shoulders is the most basic, but they told me I could do whichever "pulled me in" the most. It was by donation only, I gave $200, but they would have been very happy with half of that. The most unsafe part is blood borne diseases. They take that part VERY seriously and are all medically certified to deal with it properly. Performances are done, but this crew are all professional piercing artists, this is their hobby

Hey Mike. Looks intense! Glad to see you enjoyed it and got something out of it. My 2 cents on "how I can share this experience with our broader YouTube family"... For me, I am intensely curious and want to know every little detail. How long has suspension been around? Is it called "suspension" are there other names for it? Who started it? Are they still alive? What are they doing these days? Why do people do it? How often? Health benefits? Studies? Are drugs/substances involved before doing it? Do you fast before doing it? What is the prep before doing it? What are reasons why people do it? What are the hooks made of? What do they look like? How are they connected to you? What is the device that you hang from made of? Are there companies that make these things? Are they home made? How do you choose what type of device to hang from? What moves while hanging are safe? Which are unsafe? Which are safe for beginners and which are risky for the most advanced users? What culture did this originate from? How much does it cost? Are people making a living form it by helping others do it? Performances? Has there even been serious injury? Death? Long-term risks?

I think Marilyn said everything I woruld have, i might add 1 thing. your balls ar huge man fair play!

This is a beautiful comment. Thank you Marilyn. I hope I can make a piece for my YouTube channel that makes people feel the same way you do. You're right, it's not for everybody, but there is an experience there worth having if you look a little bit deeper. ❤️

Nice to have heard you explain a little about how the experience impacted your life before seeing the actual clip. You seem so peaceful, serene even. Doing things like this for a reason makes it worthwhile and deeply personal. Sure, it's not for everybody but I still appreciate it through people like you even if I don't go through with it myself. I will stick to tattoos in the meantime. 😊 Thanks for sharing, Mike and looking forward to the whole feature.
